Looking for RO/postgraduate students

Research Officer (RO) (2 positions available)


Project Title:

Efficient algorithm and scheme for spectrum mobility and dynamic resource management in Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Network for Green Communication

 

Project Leader: Dr. Mardeni Roslee, Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University, Malaysia.

 

The objectives of this project are:

1. To investigate the inefficient use of frequency in Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Network.

2. To develop an algorithm for higher efficiency use of spectrum mobility and dynamic resource management in Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Network.

3. Recommend a new scheme that resulted from the evaluation of the developed algorithm for green communication.

 

 

Outputs Expected from the project:

To make better usage of available spectrum to achieve higher end-to-end quality of service for green communication, e.g., in throughput and/or delay performance.

 

 

1. The salary will be RM1,800-2,200 per month

2. The RO must help the project leader in all work associated with the research.

3. The RO may register for Master Degree by Research program (M.EngSc) or Phd with MMU.

 

 

Requirements:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Microwave communication, Electronics Engineering, Physics or related fields.

2. Knowledge in 3G, 3.5G, 4G would be an advantage.

3. Good English proficiency.

4. Self-motivated and willing to learn.
